WEBINAR “Yemen Humanitarian Crisis-What You Need to Know”
Friday, November 5, 2021, SEAHUM conducted a Webinar program in collaboration with NGO Help Yemen and MyCare Malaysia on humanitarian issues in Yemen. This webinar aims to find out the current situation and conditions in Yemen. Building awareness is not only providing material assistance, but also having a sense of sensitivity to find out in advance how the condition of the survivors or victims is. Knowledge of the condition of the victims of the war in Yemen is not only a sense of humanity, but also a sense of brotherhood between Indonesia and Yemen.
This webinar invites one of the speakers from Yemen, he is Prof.Dr. Dawood Abdulmalek Yahya Al-Hidabi (Chief of Supervisory Committee of Help YEMEN Relief Campaign). In this webinar Prof. Dawood stated that the people of Yemen are in bad shape. Many people are starving, lack of clean water and not even a few children have to die. He also said that NGOs should also open up opportunities to help people in Yemen to have a better life and not take many victims.
