SEAHUM Participates in ICPRD Malaysia

As part of its commitment to strengthening humanitarian collaboration, SEAHUM participated in ICPRD 2025, held at IAIS Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur on 6–7 December 2025. Representatives from SEAHUM member organisations, including Rumah Zakat, Lembaga Manajemen Infaq, Dewan Da’wah, DT Peduli, Al-Khair Foundation, LAZ Al-Azhar and ANTAR Bangladesh, attended the event.

The theme was “Recovery. Empowerment. Partnership”, ICPRD 2025 brought together over 100 participants from Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei, Singapore, the Philippines, Thailand, Cambodia, Bangladesh, Australia and Turkey. The forum aimed to strengthen global cooperation in supporting communities recovering from war and humanitarian crises.

During the plenary sessions, key challenges and urgent needs in affected regions such as Palestine, Syria, Yemen, Sudan and the Balkans were addressed, with discussions focusing on education, rehabilitation and human development, as well as the preparation of long-term settlement and recovery strategies. By participating in the forum, SEAHUM reaffirmed its commitment to collaborative humanitarian action and sustainable recovery efforts.
