Workshop on Enhancing Accountability in Humanitarian Action
Bandung, 22-24 November 2022
Wokshop on Enchancing Accountability in Humanitarian Action organized by Southeast Asia Humanitarian Committee and collaboration with International Committe of the Red Cross (ICRC) and Humanitarian Forum Indonesia. The speakers in this workshop are Catherine Huser (Inclusive Programming Advisor, ICRC Geneva), Prof. Dr Hilman Latief, Dr Rahmawati Husen (Muhammadiyah Disaster Management Center), Arshinta (Yakkum), Mohd Azmi Abdul Hamid (President of MAPIM Malaysia).
This workshop have a goals to :
- Create a space for humanitarian organizations to better understand different concepts on acoountability in humanitarian action
- Brainstrom on the religious principles for accountability in humanitarian assistance
- Explore how to translate principled humanitarian response into practice according to the character of the organization
- Explore how to improve coordination and sharing of knowledge, experience, and expertise between diverse humanitariab organizations
The participants in this workshop come from Humanitarian organizations in Indonesia and Malaysia. Many the participants say “Thankyou” to the organizers for this workshop.
