Training of WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) Facilitator for Humanitarian Activists

SEAHUM collaborated with LAZ HARFA to carry out the “Training of WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) Facilitator for Humanitarian Activists” training at Asoka Hotel Pandeglang Banten and in Waringin Jaya Village.

This training was attended by several institutions that are members of SEAHUM, including DMC Dompet Dhuafa, Rumah Zakat, and Laznas Da’wah Council. The training which was held for 3 days (20-22 December 2021) was divided into 2 sessions.

First, 20-21 December 2021, the event was opened by SEAHUM Executive Director Moehammad January Yoesuf and LAZ HARFA President Director Indah Prihanande, followed by the delivery of material by Trainers and Facilitators, including:

  • ️WASH basics
  • ️WASH Emergency Response
  • ️Community Led Total Sanitation (CLTS)
  • ️Closet and Latrine Construction
  • ️Community Based SABS
  • ️ABCD approach.

Second, December 22, 2021, is the last series of 3 days of training and ends with practice in the field, to be precise in Waringin Jaya Village, Pandeglang, Banten. In this practice the participants are expected to be able to:
️Do Triggers or Approach the Community : Creating a closet and ️Making a latrine
