Negotiation Skills for Frontline Humanitarian Aid Workers Training

October 29–31, 2025, in Surabaya. SEAHUM successfully conducted a training program in collaboration with Al Khair Southeast Asia. Twenty participants from various humanitarian organizations in Indonesia and Malaysia attended the program.

Throughout the three-day program, participants learned about:
Negotiation preparation
Analysis of position, interests, and needs
Identification of BATNAs and concessions
Negotiation phases
⚖ Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Handling Modes

The training strengthened the negotiation and communication skills of the humanitarian workers, helping them engage more effectively in the field and achieve better outcomes for affected communities.
