Humanitarian Meeting and Coordination

Starting from the concern of the magnitude of increasing poverty and humanitarian conflicts in the ASEAN region, several Humanitarian Institutions from Indonesia, namely PKPU/Human Initiative, Dompet Dhuafa, Rumah Zakat and YDSF initiated a meeting and coordination of humanitarian institutions in Indonesia and Malaysia on 12 August 2012.

Jakarta Declaration of Southeast Asia Meeting on Rohingya Crisis

In this meeting, it was discussed to look for a model of cooperation between humanitarian agencies to take part in helping victims of humanitarian conflicts that occur and poverty problems in the Southeast Asian region. In the meeting attended by 10 humanitarian agencies from Indonesia, Malaysia, and Bangladesh, the declaration below was produced the “Jakarta Declaration of Southeast Asia Meeting on Rohingya Crisis”.
